I don't think I have ever seen a common moorhen in winter dress!
I wish I could take nature photos as good as these.
I've never seen a turkey vulture on the ground like this. Wonderful shots!
Beautiful!

Great photos Pam! I saw a cormorant drying his wings the other day on a rock, but couldn't stop to take a photo of it.
Wonderful selection of shots. The Anhinga drying its wings is cool. And I love the cute Moorhen! Great shots!
Super shots of nature. Birds are hard to photograph.
I haven't heard them named/called Moorhen - around here they're Gallinule. Guess they're both the same species, right?
I have never seen a Turkey Vulture on the ground like that. All of these are just super shots.
I can't pick a favorite. Happy weekend!:-)
SO beautiful, love the drying bird... but the turkey vulture, it's hard to love that look isn't it? Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #67!
Beautiful series of photos! But especially impressive is the artistic shape of those spread wings in the first photo!
You take such wonderful photos. I love them all. But i must admit, the Anhinga is my fav in this series. He's so dignified and composed. :)
Very nice images, Pam! Poor vultures get no respect!
Great photos, you captured each bird quite well. I love the drying wings shot, awesome.
Great shots!! Love the turkey vulture!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Wonderful shots! That TV has some pretty feathers!
Three lovely birds. I remember the Anhinga from our last trip to Florida several years ago now. New to me then I thought it was amazing!
Those anhingas are amazing. Great shot.
These are great! I love seeing the stretchy anhingas! And I would never have known that the moorhen looked like that in winter plumage. (Now all I have to do is see one in real!)
