Doing what they do best..
Preening- at Peaceful Waters Sanctuary in Wellington.
Strolling- at Limestone Creek Natural Area in Jupiter.
Stalking- Tricolored Heron- from the same family tree at Green Cay Wetlands in Delray Beach.
Great Blues and Tricolored Herons are magnificent birds to watch and photograph no matter what they are doing or where they are.. don't you think?

Lovely images of the Great Blue Herons, Pam.
They're similar in markings to our Grey Herons, but (surprise, surprise!) ours are grey (gray, in USA parlance), whereas yours are a bit more blue!
